ABOUT ROBINVALE COLLEGE

Our College is the learning hub at the heart of its thriving community.  Our College is situated on the Murray River in North Western Victoria, approximately 500 km northwest of Melbourne, between the regional cities of Mildura (85 km) and Swan Hill (145 km.  The town was established as a soldier settlement in an area that had long been occupied by the Aboriginal peoples of the Mutthi, Latje, Tatti and Wadi; in post-war years migrant Italian and Greek families established themselves, followed in the late 1980s by Pacific Islander migration.

More recently, migrants from Vietnam, Cambodia, Korea, and Thailand added to the vibrant cultural mix of the Robinvale community; approximately one third of Robinvale's residents were born overseas, making it unique in such a remote rural location.  Our College reflects the town’s cultural diversity and we celebrate our many cultures.

Our College has four new classroom buildings custom-designed for  21st century learning, and also has a Gymnasium, a Multi-Purpose Room, and a heated indoor pool.

The College offers a wide range of programs to support and engage its broad mix of students including the Robinvale Community Brass Band, an instrumental music program, and on-site delivery of a range of Vocational Training subjects, including VET Automotive Engineering, VET Agriculture, VET Retail, VET Music Production and VET Community Studies.  The school also has a Clontarf Academy, a Community Garden and a vibrant performing arts program.

Our learning programmes aim to develop successful pathways to further study and employment, and seek to embed the attributes and skills that will sustain lifelong learning.  May I welcome you to Robinvale College and hope you enjoy a fulfilling time at the college.
